Welcome to Huntington Speech and Feeding!
Huntington Speech & Feeding is a results oriented affordable private practice established by Lori Wasserman-Rizzo. Lori is a NYS and ASHA certified pediatric speech-language pathologist with over 20 years of direct experience. She believes in the philosophy that the best tool that makes a difference in one's recovery is the training and expertise of the treating therapist.
We achieve optimal results by utilizing the child's strengths to facilitate the child's areas of need. Lori and her staff view the family as an integral part of therapy and evaluation processes. They are at the cutting edge of all evidence based therapy programs, practices and techniques to help those they serve.
Huntington Speech and Feeding provides Speech, Language, Feeding, Early reading and Myofunctional Evaluation and Intervention. We also offer Family Training services and Food Coaching. Therapy and consultation services can be scheduled in person in our office setting or via Telehealth. The addition of Telehealth gives us the opportunity to meet the dynamic needs of our families at any given time.
We serve children and families residing in Northport, East Northport, Kings Park, Commack, Greenlawn, Huntington, Cold Spring Harbor, Eaton's Neck, Dix Hills, Melville, Woodbury, Plainview and Syosset towns, and we also have a preschool related service contract with Suffolk County for CPSE related speech services.
